Building, Dwelling, Observing

With all projects that we undertake as designers, we should aim to consider architecture not just as a product, but as an experience and philosophical statement which becomes richer as time passes. With each decision we make, we give material things narrative qualities. I strongly believe that the more we express these qualities, the more vibrant and effective our built environment becomes.

Our ideas shape our physical space to incorporate the ethics and values that we hold close. As architects we have to act with a sense of responsibility and custodianship towards nature and all species which inhabit it. Sustainability and how our design both frames and relates to the surrounding context are therefore key in considering buildings as living, breathing things that we relate to with emotional responses.

Each structure that we create is not an end point, but rather the start of a journey which shapes how we interact with each other and our surroundings.

My passion is to take raw materials and transform these into projects which enrich the way we live.
